ONE MORE

...Lord, help me to get one more... 

The story of Desmond Doss have inspired my life in different ways, challenging my life to covering a fuller potential of what God wants of me. 

Desmond was a Jewish that had much faith in God, though he didn't hear God literally, but he believed in everything that Gods personality represents. Time came of war between the Americans and the Japan's. He volunteered to help his nation American in the war. But not as a war killer soldier but as a medic. He believed that life was scared and shouldn't be taken. He decided to go into war as a life saver and not a life taker. 

At the war, it came to a point that every one retreated from the ridge where the War was fierce. But he stayed back alone. Not because he wanted to die, but because that was the time he could do his work more. When the killer soldiers were down in retreat. The life saver was up engaged in saving lives. 

He dragged the victims to the ridge and lowered them alone to the ground. He moved in into the blazing fierce field, crawling with impendable danger, looking for victims he would rescue. He kept at it until he was weakened. He kept lowering victims off the ridge. For each one he lowered, he made a simple prayer... Lord, help me to get one more... 

Though he didn't fight that war by carrying guns and shooting life out of people, he fought it by saving life that were tormented by the war. 

He became a saviour to the american wounded men.

Of all i made out of His story, i will never forget that people may not believe in what you believe i believe in, but they would believe in how much i believe in it because of what i become to them.

And of all the things to believe in,

I believe in Jesus Christ crucified, died, buried and risen again...
